Heritage of Kashmir
CASHMERE LUXURY

Our Heritage

The craft traditions of Kashmir behind our collections.

Carpets and kalin

Kashmir is widely associated with finely patterned carpets, known locally as kalin. Floral borders, central medallions and the tree-of-life motif recur across designs, each balancing colour and symmetry. Our carpet collections are inspired by these design languages, in both wool and silk.

Pashmina and shawls

Shawls have long been part of Kashmir’s textile story. Soft, lightweight fabrics are paired with traditions of surface embroidery, from delicate needlework to bolder chain-stitch florals. Our shawl collections reflect this range, from plain stoles to richly worked pieces.

Embroidery and clothing

Kashmiri embroidery turns clothing into a canvas: neckline and placket detailing on kurtas, embroidered hems and cuffs on pherans, and metallic-thread accents for festive wear.

Papier-mâché and woodwork

Painted papier-mâché and carved walnut wood are everyday arts in the valley, seen in boxes, vases, trays and decorative pieces. We include them so that the craft can find a place in your home.
